Postgraduate admission

University graduates

Postgraduate admission, from register to seat.

One platform for a postgraduate year: the applicant registers, ranks centres and pays fees; the admission office works the seat matrix, the selection list and the admit.

For the candidate

From the application to the hall ticket

Online registration

Personal details, addresses, the undergraduate degree and semester marks, all on one form.

Document upload

Certificates and reservation papers go up as PDF, with a size limit on each file.

College choice

The candidate picks a programme and ranks every college that offers it, in the order they prefer.

Management quota

A separate choice list records management-quota preferences, apart from the regular ranking.

Fee payment

The application fee is paid first. The admission fee is paid later, and both are stored as transactions.

Allotted seat

After allotment, the candidate opens the college and programme that were assigned.

Hall ticket

A hall ticket is generated and can be downloaded for the sitting.

Hostel

A new hostel seat or a renewal, with the resident rules and a certificate from the department head.

Doctoral admission

The same year has a parallel path: doctoral registration, fee payment and a doctoral hall ticket.

For the admission office

From the seat matrix to the admit

Applications by subject

A chairman opens one subject and sees who applied, how selection is moving, and a record of changes.

Seat matrix

Seats by college and reservation category, so the committee can see how many places remain.

Consolidated list

Undergraduate marks and choices in one list, ready to export when the committee moves to selection.

Selection list

Selected candidates are kept apart from everyone who only applied.

Admit

Staff admit a candidate who has paid, and can see paid students against the total.

Payment reports

Application fees and admission fees are listed, so unpaid cases are visible.

Challenge valuation

A candidate can raise a paid challenge against a paper, and the office can see each request.

Timetable

The sitting timetable is maintained for postgraduate and doctoral examinations.

Invigilator register

A hall-ticket register shows who was issued a ticket for the examination hall.
